Many of you have asked for advice, in writing effective adult personals ads. Here is what I've seen work the best.
Complete ads work the best. Fill in every blank that applies to you. Leaving out your Name or other information, looks very impersonal. Incomplete ads make you appear as if you really don't care about your results. Consequently people won't spend much time with your ad. Write enough so that people will stop and think about you as a prospect.
Remember the ad you write is all a person or couple will know about you, as they decide whether or not to communicate with you.
You should view your profile as a little advertisement for yourself.
Double check your e-mail address. AOLer's need to make sure they ad the ".com", to their screen names.
Targeted ads work the best. Think about the type of people you wish to attract. Gear your ad's language and contact toward these people.
Your ad will pull much more traffic, if it has a pic attached. It can be naughty or nice. Simply send it to me, and I'll attach it to your ad. If you're shy, ask me to block out the face for you.
Something else to consider: You are one of numerous ads, in your area. Some people don't have the stamina or desire to go through all the ads, answering every one of them. Or someone your interested in, may not be actively looking. They certainly will answer messages though.
The best way to overcome this numbers challenge, is to read the ads yourself, responding to the ads that you like! This gives you more control. There is a small fee to join and search the ads.
